READY FUNERAL
PURSE INITIATIVE
( FUNERAL EXPENSE
SAVINGS PLAN )

Welcome to the Ready Funeral Purse Initiative. Our Funeral Expense Savings Plan offers financial peace of mind during challenging times of loss. We understand that planning for funerals can be emotionally and financially taxing. Our plan aims to alleviate the burden of immediate funeral expenses, allowing families to focus on grieving and celebrating the life of their loved ones with dignity.

What You Need to Know

Our Funeral Expense Savings Plan allows registered members to accumulate funds specifically for their own funeral and burial expenses, or for those of their designated loved ones.

  • Flexible Contributions: Members can save at their own pace, after starting with a fixed deposit amount of 250,000/=. Save what you can afford, whenever you want.
  • Secure Deposits: All deposits are made exclusively to the designated Ready Funeral Purse Initiative company account. A receipt will be issued for each deposit, which must be presented to our accounts office for record-keeping and approval.
  • Withdrawal of Funds: Funds saved with the Ready Funeral Purse Initiative are exclusively for funeral expenses for the registered member or their covered dependents, as outlined herein. Withdrawals for any other purpose are not permitted. All accumulated funds will be paid directly to the chosen funeral home upon a validated claim.

How Saved Funds Are Utilized

  • For the main member: Upon the passing of a registered Main Member, their designated Next of Kin will process the funeral arrangements. The accumulated savings will be paid directly to Executive Funeral Services to cover the selected funeral package. If savings are insufficient, the available funds will be paid to Executive Funeral Services, and the family will be responsible for topping up the remaining balance directly. For a deceased loved one: If a member loses a loved one covered by this plan, the accumulated savings will serve as a starting point or, if sufficient, will cover all funeral arrangements. If funds are insufficient, the available amount will be paid to the funeral home, and the family will need to cover the remaining balance directly with the funeral home.
